Envies to live an authentic and colourful feast ? Then participate in the Carnival of Sarreguemines ! Masked balls called traditionally Ballas-Ballas at Sarreguemines will make you dance until dawn on the furious music of orchestras camping in the various rooms of the city hall. So, there will be for all the tastes !
Not to be missed : the pause of the Carnival of Sarreguemines is the International Cavalcade which will take place in the streets of the centre of the town on Sunday, February 7th.
Colourful, diversified, and large-scale international, the Cavalcade acquired for a long time its letters patent of nobility and knows every year a formidable, popular success.
Thousands of visitors group on the route to appreciate the parade of the decorated tanks, the Carnival People, the furious musical troupes... Free.

Annual celebration of the faience factory for about one century, the “Saint Paul” grew up with its time and evolved with the local life to become an awaited meeting marked by a great friendliness.So during the last weekend of June, you will discover the festive atmosphere, which ruled every year at the end of the nineteen-century on the occasion of the Saint Paul, a patronymic’s celebration from Paul de Geiger, who was the boss of the faience factory.
As every year, music lover and fond of gastronomy will meet at the market place to taste regional products and listen to a non-stop music program, especially with the Gastronomic Saint Paul Fraternity.
Lots of surprises are waiting for you this year again, right from the 28th June!

Sibille place - Sarreguemines
In a traditional musical atmosphere, cottages, lights, decorations, arts and crafts, gastronomy and spectacles make the beautiful part of the place du General Sibille, not so far from the center of the town.
From the softest daylights to the nightfall, the Christmas Market of Sarreguemines will be cradled with magic.
By walking in the centre of this magical village, situated in this small quiet spot from Eastern France, enjoy the waders, the street’s artists and troupes, ones as amazing as the others !
During all the Advent time, come to stroll in a warm, magical and greedy atmosphere, convenient to the preparations of the Christmas and the New Year celebrations.
Come to discover the secrets and beauties of the Russians, Sicilians, Moroccans, Asians or Africans arts and crafts and the Christmas’s delights like the foie gras, the roasted chestnuts, the waffles, the mulled wine, and let’s not forget the presence of sarregueminoises associations.
Also : the regional products, the famous Christmas’s balls from Meisenthal, jewels, candles, honey, glass engraving, Christmas’s decorations… And much more.
Every year, in partnership with the Municipality, the Tourist Office organises two competitions with the aim of encouraging private initiatives to improve quality of life, either through flower displays, or through decorations and lights.
